It won't necessarily appeal to everyone, but if you're the target audience, rest assured EDF 2 on the Vita will hit all the right buttons.
Mindless destruction and lots of fun. Whilst EDF2 doesn’t add much compared to the original releases of the game, it still remains a fun and competent shooter. If you just want a short, fun game that’s easy to play then this is worth a look.
It brings me back to a time of simplicity and rejuvenates the tired soul after so many triple A ‘blockbusters’.
Earth Defense Force 2 is not the best game that we have on PS Vita but undoubtedly has a very good execution on its gameplay elements. We loved that the game comes to west officially for the first time because kill giant insects and other alien invaders is fun and relaxing especially when you are with friends.
Fun gameplay that reminds me why I enjoy playing video games in the first place.
It's hard to beat blasting aliens on a commute, but its long-term prospects demand a tolerance for repetition that the game's charming awkwardness might not overcome.
While the original is a cult classic, this version won't carry on that legacy. EDF 2 has a patented premise behind it, but all of the pieces of this puzzle are inhibited by technical issues. It's hard to find the fun.
